SMS campaigns are a way of communicating with a wide range of customers using SMS all through Slack. With our campaigns, your business is able to contact thousands of potential users and customers via SMS. This can be used both for marketing and notifications.
To send a campaign in Slack navigate to the clerk dashboard by typing /clerk in your channel and pressing enter. You will be presented with the Clerk dashboard.
Creating Groups
Campaigns use "groups" to send one message to many contacts. You can think of groups as "cohorts" of your users/customers. There are a couple of ways that you can create a group:
Once created select your group by typing in the search dialog box.
Click on 👨👩👧 Campaigns and search for your desired target group
You can also schedule your campaign by clicking Send Later and selecting date/time
<aside> 💡 Note: By sending bulk SMS you acknowledge that everyone on your contact list explicitly accepted communication from your phone number.

Depending on the size of your SMS group it can take a few minutes for the campaign to successfully go through.
