Here's everything you need to know about registering and getting paid for your deals. We've designed this to be fair, transparent, and rewarding for our partnership.


Deal Registration Requirements

To participate in the Deal Registration process, the partner submitting the Deal must hold an active Clerk Chat partner agreement.

  • New logo opportunities qualify for deal registration if they meet minimum deal size requirements of $500 monthly recurring revenue or $6,000 annual recurring revenue

  • The partner must be the initial party to submit prospect details and be approved for deal registration

  • The opportunity must be entirely new to Clerk Chat and not already within our active sales funnel

  • The Partner must submit a Deal Registration Form through email or the Clerk Chat Deal Registration Portal and provide pertinent details including customer name, profile, and opportunity details.


How To Register A Deal

Submit your deals through our Deal Registration form with these key details:

  • Customer company name & address

  • Decision maker's contact info

  • Estimated deal size

  • Expected close date

  • Brief description of the opportunity

We'll review and respond within 5 business days. No response means the deal wasn't approved - but you are free to reach out to understand why.


Commission Qualification

To qualify for commission:

  1. Deal must be properly registered (read: Keys to success below)

  2. Clerk Chat must approve the registration

  3. Deal must close within 60 calendar days from time of submission

  4. You need to be actively involved in the sales process


Protected Accounts

Some accounts are off-limits:

  • Our house accounts (please verify with a Clerk Chat partner management representative)

  • Customers who contact us and solicit our business directly,

  • Clerk Chat reserves the right to modify the protected accounts list at any time


What If We Both Find The Same Customer?

If you registered a deal and we independently find the same opportunity:

  • Show us proof you were working the business prior to our engagement (emails, meetings, etc.)

  • If verified, you'll get a reduced commission for the first-year of revenue

  • No proof = no commission

Examples Of What Not To Submit

Providing more detail and filling out the Deal Registration form completely will allow Clerk Chat to make a more rapid assessment of the opportunity.

Poor Registration Example:

  • Company: Healthcare Company

  • Contact: Jim in IT

  • Deal Size: TBD

  • Timeline: Hoping to close this year

  • Requirements: Standard stuff

Strong Registration Example:

  • Company: Memorial Healthcare Systems, Inc.

  • Contact: Jim Anderson, IT Director

  • Deal Size: $250,000 ARR (1,000 users Γ— $20/user/month)

  • Timeline: POC in 30 days, Purchase in 90 days

  • Requirements:

    • SOC2 compliance required

    • Must integrate with Salesforce.com

    • Integration with Microsoft Teams is essential

    • Mobile app required

    • Interested in automating SMS responses to scale business and for better customer service
