How to build an RCS carousel
Go to sidebar, Templates, Add template, RCS template.
Select Rich cards as the message type.
Add up to 10 cards per carousel.
For each card, you can upload media, add text, and include buttons for interactivity.
Adding media
Each carousel card can include an image or video.
Drag and drop a file, or click “Choose a file” to upload from your computer.
Supported file formats:
jpg, jpeg, png, gif, mp4, m4v, m4p, mpg, mpeg, webm
Customizing each card
Each card can include:
Header: A short, attention-grabbing title
Body: Supporting text or description
To personalize your message, click the ➕ icon in the header or body to insert a variable, such as a contact’s first name or company. You can also add emojis anywhere in your text.
Adding buttons
Each carousel card supports up to 4 buttons. Buttons help customers take quick action directly from your message.
You can label each button with your preferred call to action, such as “Book Now” or “Call Us.” Learn more about buttons here.
Button actions include:
Select a Template – send a predefined message or response
Trigger an Agent – prompt one of your AI agents to take over the conversation
Open a URL – direct users to a webpage
Dial a Number – instantly call your business
View a Location – open an address in maps
Create a Calendar Event – help customers add an appointment or reminder
Tips for a great carousel
Keep headers short and easy to scan.
Use consistent image sizes for a polished, branded look.
Include at least one clear call-to-action button per card.
Test your carousel on mobile using your test device numbers before launch.
