Call Recording
All calls are recorded by default once call recording is enabled for your workspace.
You’ll be able to:
Play back calls directly in the UI, just like a podcast.
Adjust playback speed (slow down or speed up to 2x).
Stop a recording mid-call if needed.
All new recorded calls appear automatically in your conversation list once completed.
Note: To enable call recording on your phone line, contact sales@clerk.chat.
Transcript and Summaries
Each recorded call includes a full AI-generated transcript with timestamps — so you can scroll through key moments without re-listening to the entire call.
At the top of the transcript, you’ll also find an AI-generated summary of the conversation. This gives you a concise overview of what was discussed, making it easier to review, follow up, or share insights with your team.
Compliance and Privacy
Call recording and transcription are essential for many compliance and quality-assurance teams. However, it’s important to confirm that recording calls aligns with your company’s policies and applicable regional regulations.
If your industry has specific compliance requirements, ensure your use of call recording is suitable for your organization before enabling this feature.
Important: When recording calls, you must inform participants that the call is being recorded. This disclosure is required to comply with applicable call recording and privacy laws.
