We've strengthened our opt-in/opt-out controls to enhance compliance and protect user privacy. Now, only Workspace Owners and Admins have the ability to opt-in a contact who previously opted out by replying "STOP." This is an example of how opt-in actions are carefully controlled and adhere to strict compliance requirements.

We've updated our Analytics to now display call queue data directly within Clerk Chat. Gain valuable insights into your queue call metrics, allowing you to improve customer experience. This is great for comprehensive visibility and data-driven optimization for a seamless customer journey.

When creating or editing an agent, you'll find "Webhook" as a new trigger option. This allows you to initiate your agent flows by sending a request from any external system, tool, or API that supports webhooks.

Clerk Chat can now trigger AI agents when contacts join or leave lists. This is incredibly useful when you want to send a message when a contact joins a new List.

For example, if you have a list called "leads," you can now trigger an automated AI sequence every time a contact becomes a lead.

We've been listening, and we're excited to share major accessibility improvements to Clerk Chat.

Here's what's new:

  • Inbox Focus: The left column can now be focused using the "Tab" key after opening Clerk Chat with a shortcut.

  • New Message Shortcut: Quickly start a new message with "Option/Alt + N.”

  • Consistent Navigation: Pressing "Esc" will navigate you from an open chat conversation back to the list of conversations and campaigns.

  • Chat History Input: "Enter" will take you to an inbox’s chat history input even if that conversation is already open.

  • Improved Tab Navigation: We've refined "Shift + Tab" navigation to provide a more intuitive experience, including navigating to inbox conversations and campaigns, the search bar, filter, and more from messages.

We've made it even easier to hand off conversations from your AI Agents to your human team members! Introducing the "Assign to Team Member" Agent Tool. 🀝

Now, when your agent flow reaches this node, the AI will assign the conversation to a human on the designated inbox, using the "assign to" list. Additionally, you can choose exactly who the conversation should be assigned to, or multi-select and assign conversations to multiple team members simultaneously.
