Clerk Chat integrates with Microsoft Purview by archiving all conversations to an email inbox of your choice. Configuring Purview to scan that email inbox will automatically add the Clerk Archives to Purview.

Clerk Chat Email Archive Setup

1. Click Settings

2. Click Integrations

3. Click Smarsh (note: This is a universal email archiver, not Smarsh specific)

4. Enter the email address you wish to archive conversations to

Clerk Chat will archive conversations every day at 5pm PST. Each archive will include messages added since the previous successful archive.

Purview Setup

Follow the Microsoft Documentation to Enable Archiving for the email inbox you created.
