Why Whitelist Domains?

Whitelisting domains in the Clerk Chat Partner Portal is crucial for:

  • Seamless Onboarding: Ensure customers sign up only through your designated channels, streamlining the onboarding process.

How to Whitelist a Domain:

  1. Access the Partner Portal: Log in to your Clerk Chat Partner Portal.

  2. Navigate to the Domain Management Section: Navigate to the the settings “cog” on the team you would like to Whitelist. Click “Add Domain”.

  3. Add the Domain: Enter the full domain name you wish to whitelist (e.g., contact@customerdomain.com).

  4. Initiate Verification: After adding the domain, the system will automatically send a verification email to an address on that domain (e.g., contact@customerdomain.com).

  5. Customer Confirmation: The customer must confirm their domain. Ensure they follow the instructions in the verification email they receive. This step is essential for security and prevents unauthorized whitelisting.

  6. Monitor Status: Check the status of the whitelisting request within the portal. It should indicate whether the domain is pending verification or has been successfully whitelisted.
